Abstract
The paper is structured on two levels and aims at analyzing the management and audit of communication in a typical school in the Romanian education system.
The first part of the paper analyzes the management of communication in the school, regarding all types of communication models: ascending, descending, horizontal, internal, external, formal or informal; all types of communication channels: attracting attention, developing apprehension, commitment, acceptance, involvement; all types of communication networks: centralized, circular, complex.
The second part of the paper analyzes the communication audit in a school, with all its components: exploration, examination and assessment of communication. This highlights the positive aspects of organizational communication, as well as the aspects that need to be paid special attention.
