Abstract

A part of the education’s reform presumes the replacement of the traditional teaching methods with newer ones, called methods of critical thinking, which are based on the principles of active learning. This means that the pupil is put in the situation of discovering alone the information, because the information gathered like this is memorized easier and for a longer period of time. In this paper I will make the theoretical presentation of a few methods of the critical thinking, and then I will apply these methods to different disciplines from the primary school curriculum. The methods are: the cube, learning in small groups and the problematization.
