THE METHODS OF DEVELOPMENT OF TEENAGER’S GRAPHIC SKILLS IN THE PROCESS OF ARTISTICALLY-DESIGNED ACTIVITIES

Abstract


The problem of development of teenager’s graphic skills is one of the most important in the art education because it deals with the formation of the educated and creative person. Much has been said and written about this problem. However, objective changes of modern education system demand new approaches to this problem solving.

The main aim of our research is to reveal and to ground scientifically the methods of development of teenager’s graphic skills in the process of artistically-designed activities that (methods) provide a high level of their artistic training.

We introduce a set of common didactic and special methods. Within the common didactic we distinguish such methods as: verbal, visualization, practice, training.

Within the special methods we distinguish the following: 1. The project method; 2. The design analysis method; 3. The “brain storming” method; 4. The information supply method; 5. The speed sketching method; 6. The information sufficiency method; 7. The information insufficiency method; 8. The method of the stimulation of the need to acquire graphic skills; 9. The portfolio method.

The complex of the introduced methods is being consistently applied in the course of fine arts and design classes within the children’s school of arts in Kazan.

In conclusion, we make a clear message the methods that had been offered in our research provide a high level development of teenager’s graphic skills in the process of artistically-designed activities.
