Abstract
The purpose of this study was to design and develop the Constructivist web-based learning environment model based on brain-based learning to enhance human learning efficiency: integration with neuroscience. The target group consisted of 20 first year Bachelor’s degree students who studying in information and technology major, Faculty of Information and Technology, North Eastern University, in the first semester. The developmental research phase I is employed in this study. The document analysis and survey methods are used. The procedures are as the following: 1) to examine the principle and theories 2) to explore the instructional context 3) to synthesize the designing framework of the Constructivist web-based learning environment model based on brain-based learning to enhance human learning efficiency: integration with neuroscience 4) to design and develop the Constructivist web-based learning environment model based on brain-based learning to enhance human learning efficiency: integration with neuroscience, and 5) to evaluate the Constructivist web-based learning environment model based on brain-based learning to enhance human learning efficiency: integration with neuroscience. The data analysis employed an interpretation as d conclusion by the researcher. The results showed that:
1) The Constructivist web-based learning environment model based on brain-based learning to enhance human learning efficiency: integration with neuroscience comprised of 10 components as following: 1) Problem base 2) Knowledge bank 3) Scaffolding 4) Meaningful experience 5) Multiple intelligence development centers 6) Relaxation room 7) Edutainment room 8) Brain-gym 9) Collaboration
2) The efficiency of the Constructivist web-based learning environment model based on brain-based learning to enhance human learning efficiency: integration with neuroscience are in the aspects of expert review, learners’ opinions, human learning efficiency, and learning achievement.
