Past and present material always has been instrumental in the design. Design in any fields, reaches to success with the use of the right ingredients. Identify the material in architectural design, make the right choices, both structurally and aesthetically structure would be sustainable. Nowadays, especially environmentally compatible, respect for nature and a well-known failure mechanisms will improve the quality of the material structure. In this study active role in the architectural design of materials will be discussed with examples.
