The present work includes a contemporary reflection on the Educational, Psychosocial and Economic Challenges of Higher Education in the Colombian Caribbean. To this effect, he advanced a meta-analytical review with the purpose of identifying the main needs, expectations and quality goals in Higher Education under the framework of the present Peace process in Colombia. The results of this study allow the formulation of a series of recommendations on public policy at the educational level, in order to promote the construction of scenarios of peace and sustainable development.
