Abstract
The aim of this study is to introduce the competence/qualification of individual instrument (violin) students related to the course of violin education methods and techniques. Within this content third and fourth grade students at the Gazi University Faculty of Education Department of Fine Arts Education Department of Music Education in Ankara in 2016-2017 educational years are the study group of this research.
This is a quantiative study in terms of examining the qualifications of the course of violin education methods and techniques students in the Department of Music Education. An observation form, which was prepared by researchers, as data collection tool was applied for the study group to evaluate knowledge and skill of musicality and style.
