Abstract


Thisstudywasaimedtodeterminetheopinions of teachercandidatesaboutstructure of e-book. Thisresearch is a quantitativestudywhich is modelledbased on theanalysis of theopinions of studentsabout e-booktheyused. Participants of thestudyconsisted of 80 voluntarystudentsstudying in thedepartment of Pre-schoolEducation in Atatürk EducationFaculty at Near East University. Thestudygroupconsisted of studentswhoenrolled in AtaturkPrinciplesandHistory of TurkishRevolutioncoursegiven as distanceeducation. Inthebeginning of thesemester; studentswereinformedabout e-books, then AIT II e-bookwaspresentedvisually, studentswereinformedabout how touse it andthe e-bookwasdistributedtothestudents. At theend of thesemester; a surveyabouttheopinions of teachercandidatesrelatedwiththeprepared e-bookandit’susewasadministeredtothestudents. Accordingtotheresults, it wasrevealedthatperceptionlevels of teachercandidatesrelatedwith e-bookandit’suseweregenerallypositive, it wouldcontributetodistanceeducationpositivelyand it wouldalso be a supportforformaleducation
