Abstract
In this research, the role of knowledge management dimensions in improvement of teachers’ performance was studied. This research based on the goal is applied. Variable data comprises knowledge management which has four components: knowledge development, knowledge preservation, knowledge distribution and knowledge combination and performance variables include capabilities and skills of teachers. The findings show that, components of knowledge management with performance variables of teachers are significant. The results show that knowledge preservation, knowledge distribution, knowledge combination and knowledge development have the highest importance in the capabilities of teachers respectively. The regression results indicate that knowledge preservation, knowledge improvement, knowledge distribution and knowledge combination have the most important in the skills of teachers. Among knowledge management dimensions, knowledge combination allocates the most weight in the field of effectiveness of teacher training courses.
