Abstract


Abstract

For the students who are in their education life to show a healthy progress, well prepared, qualified and general education program that is appropriate to their progress characteristics is vital. After the education received by students, it can be correlated with the efficiency of the process whether they reach to the attainments which were targeted or not.

The purpose of this study is the evaluation of prospective teachers’ point of views on the attainments of “physical education and Game education” course. It is measureable whether targeted attainment is reached or not however the awareness and the point of views of the students who took the course on attainments put the problems of the study forward.

The method of the study is defined as quantitative; the design is pre-test and post-test. Data were collected from the students of Near East University who took the course of “Physical education and game education” and study in the Department of Classroom Teaching during the Spring period of 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 education years. Findings of the pre-test which was applied in the first course of the education period and the post-test which was applied during the last course of the year were evaluated. For pre-test and the post-test twenty five closed ended articles were created by the researchers and asked for expert opinion. As a result of expert consultation the number of articles decreased to eighteen and applied to teacher candidates.

During the data collection process, samples of the researches of 72 volunteer students during 2015-2016 education year and samples of the researches of 96 volunteer students were created. Data collated were interpreted with SPSS analysis.
