In this study, it is aim to investigate of amateur football players’ level of state-trait anxiety levels before competition. In addition to this, amateur football players’ levels of state-anxiety levels were examined in terms of age and sport age. The study group is consisted of 45 male players. The age of the athlete ranges from 15 to 17. State-trait inventory was used as data collection tool. Frequency (f), percentage (%), standard deviation and Anova analyzes was used in data analysis processes. It was determined that the athletes did not have a high level of anxiety. Age and sport age variables did not significantly affect the anxiety levels of the athletes.
