Abstract

The period of 1980s, art in Turkey, experienced a period in art in form of efforts to go out of tradition. There were too many art events, efforts in form of new orientations, pioneering rejections, moving away from art object. The art reflections and inquiries reflected by the artisans in this period, effected at a significant degree to the understanding of art in the period.

In the study, art journals and articles especially the ones that are published during the period of 1980s will be studied by using descriptive scientific method.  Within the scope of these publications and exhibited Works, reflections of Conceptual Art in Turkey were researched.
