The focused construction for developing  projects, are the results of overcoming the vision “from top to bottom” and  changing the vision to  “from bottom to top”, in order to promote  the economic, social and environmental hold. Within this context, using proffessional and experienced knowledge, surges the molde called “Working With People” or WWP, as a planning model in which will incorpórate social participation and learning. Beginning from the three following components: social-ethics, technica-business and politic-contex; it promotes leadership, the building of competitions and technics, it strengthens the capacity and generate capital. This focus was applied in the case study from the “TEJEMUJERE” business center for women, womwn have led this organization for more than 25 years in the Gualaceo town, Ecuador, demonstrating that organized woman can become and be protagonists for their own development, in their families, in their área and country, through transforming their everyday artisanal activities that they have learned from their ancestor, in successful business and are able to maintain in the national and international Marketplace.

EMPRENDIMIENTO CON MUJERES DESDE EL MODELO WORKING WITH PEOPLE (WWP): CASO DE ESTUDIO DE LA COOPERATIVA DE MUJERES RURALES TEJEDORAS “TEJEMUJERES” EN EL CANTÓN GUALACEO – PROVINCIA DEL AZUAY-ECUADOR

Los cambios de enfoques en la construcción de  proyectos de desarrollo, son el resultado de haber superado la visión técnica “de arriba hacia abajo” y pasar a implementar una visión integrada “de abajo hacia arriba”,  con el objeto de promover la sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental. Dentro de este contexto donde se mezcla el conocimiento experto y experimentado, surge el modelo Working With People WWP, como un modelo de planificación que integra la participación social y el aprendizaje. Desde sus tres tipos de componentes: ético-social, técnico-empresarial y político-contextual; promueve el liderazgo, desarrollo de competencias contextuales y técnicas, fortalece la capacidad organizativa y genera un capital relacional. Este enfoque se aplicó en el estudio del Caso del proyecto de la Cooperativa de Mujeres Tejedoras “TEJEMUJERES”, que por más de 25 años ha sido liderado por mujeres rurales de la zona de Gualaceo-Ecuador,  demostrando que las mujeres rurales organizadas pueden convertirse y ser protagonistas de su propio desarrollo, el de sus familias, de su zona y país, a través de transformar sus actividades cotidianas artesanales que aprendieron de sus antepasados, en empresas exitosas y sostenibles posicionadas en el mercado  nacional e internacional.
