Abstract
Internationalisation of Higher Educational Institutions is vastly researched unlike that of compulsory education. Schools also need to equip learners and therefore research of Internationalisation within compulsory education is mandated. Internationalisation’s external and internal factors impact schools, which, as individual organizations, react differently. To assess how Internationalisation is being embedded, a private school in Malta, engaged in action research, using a model and questionnaire. The findings helped elicit areas of strength as well as development and training needs. The school seems to have already embarked on many initiatives with the teaching and administrative staff agreeing that internationalisation should continue to feature in the school’s development plan, policies, and training sessions. It is therefore recommended that these aspects are included within a whole school plan wherein staff and students are trained and engaged in exchanges and networking opportunities.
